Hi Jarno, I'm sorry if my call for people to join upset you, that was not the intention, if we don't make this year a success, there will not be another MGFIM. As Kasper says the plan is to take it around Europe with the idea of a different country every time. I am putting leaflets wherever I go I am hoping that others are doing the same, I have told them that any printing costs etc will be covered by the entry fees.
I have written to every member of the MGCC European Council and asked them to have the event put in their magazines and web-sites, I have used many of my contacts and asked them to do the same, we have cars from the UK, where it's a much bigger journey but so few from NL/B I really can't understand why ?
This event is listed on the official MGCC European calendar, MGlive and MGFest are not even on there, I can't advertise it more than I am doing it's even had a full page advert in MG Enthusiast.
We are not packing in lot's of things (like MGFest) as the idea is to enjoy the two road runs, the Saturday night together, the show & shine on Sunday and to be able to talk about the cars and enjoy a relaxing end of season weekend together.
Is there anything you would like to see there (more cars of course !) or anything else I can do to make the event more attractive to you ?.
an MG is for life, not just for Christmas.
