Well 10 days to go until the 'tour' cant wait to get back to the 'mainland' I have started packing already so we dont forget any thing. we carry so much including spare driveshafts and earplugs, well you never know .
Small hick-up on sunday. went a run to a car show and found the expasion bottle had totaly filled up with water ***** head gasket on a type 'r', possible but hopefully not. trip in jepoardy no, i had change the cap 'just in case' and it turned out the new one was faulty . got a spare from DC and all went well .
i have posted our route and stops in a previous post and it would be great to meet up with anyone on route.
we will be going from the 'ring hotel on thursday 18th sept and going thro lux and the ardenes if anybody is around for the run.
bruno i have sent you dc and my mobile numbers to make contact re eating at the hotel or anywhere you may thing that you would prefer hope to meet you soon

well we are back after the most exciting driving adventure i had ever had, myself, david clelland, goldenwheels and haniball (the one who took us over the alps another story for another day) i will post up a web for the trip soon but here are some pics of the alps. the pics going up the stelvio are captures of a movie so not great but the content is powerfull.

I am looking forward to discover the website. We really need a website with good routes in Europe, why they are intersting (i.e. the historical point of view) and some experiences of the drivers themselves.

...that was the 'small pizza' you should have seen dc's large spaghetti bolognese. we needed it and 5 cups of coffee to go over the pass in the storm...... but we survived
