hi to you all it was great to see you again after missing you last september . i have never meet such a happy and friendly group of mg enthousiasts who are really committed to enjoying and pushing 'the envelope' in developing the cars. you are an insperation .
it was great to take some of you out on GW at the fest and get your feedback, this is what makes it all worthwhile .

bruno, you said it might be possible to meet up with some of you when we are over for the GRAND TOUR 2009. so i have posted you our trip details and you can let us know.
i think that this wll be the last visit that GW gets to europe. its age , my age and the cost to keep it up to the 'ring condition are becomming to costly , but dc and i want to visit ALL the places we have talked about for years, it the 'old men reuniting with their past and dreams' syndrome.
also i have some clips of some runs on google and youtube that you might like to watch. i am not sure if i posted links before. is there a part on the forum to post the links??.

we will visit the normande beaches >down to lemans and run the track> and quiet time visit to oradour sur glane>down to the millau bridge >monaco and up to the col de turini> down to modena> over stelvio> thro germany doing some tracks and car factories on the way . the 'ring for 3 nights at a great hotel owned by lovely people. onto caralus for a few final beers then home to be put out to pasture like a old retired horse

while i am on is that a gtv8 you have??
i have a preproduction gtv8 gof88l chassis no 112 fitted out in police equiptment ( it was used a an evaluation car for the police as well as a press car) that i am going to sell . is this a car that would sell in your markets?. i ask because it will break my heart to sell it so i want it to go to somewhere i wont keep seeing it. i cannot use TWO special cars ,at one time so this has to go .

Anyway, I really enjoyed the run in GoldenWheels. The engine-gearbox combo is one thing and it must be fun to play it in low rev ranges and work it at higher rpm's.... The handling and brakes are the things that got me most impressed. The car is so properly setup. Again, congrats for that.

we plan to run thro luxemburg and up the ardennes to the carolus, from our hotel in germany, i know it is a weekday but someone may be very rich and have free time to drive with us that day???

another pize to erik b....the only man to spot that the mind of gerry h is slipping downhill....perhaps it is my mind trying to tell my soul that we should come again in 2009

thank you for the praise about the handling, you are right what i wanted to achieve from the start was balance. power is no use if you cant enjoy it . as i said has ticked all my boxes in what i wanted MY dream to fulfill.

the greatest pleasure i get is from the look on peoples faces when you drive at 29mph in sixth then push down the pedal and accelerate with no effort and when you brake hard and stop with no nose dive or twitch .
yes i am indeed fortuneate .

using the valves to fine tune the hydrogas is now my goal. but thats for another time
