Indeed it takes longer as anticipated. Besides the reason we all are very busy with work but also because Rudi will become father in a few weeks. Happy retirement Dieter! I already retired in 1995 (matter of definition) and it is indeed very enjoyable.
Rudi and Serene are since the 2nd of february (sorry I don't visit this forum very regular) the proud parants of thier son Camaron.

We planing our Year and that will be one of our favorite MG Events 2013, but we must save the holidays at the company....

It's hard to keep good events going Klaus. Kempenrit lasted an amazing 10 years, TdL 8 years but they were exceptional.

We need to keep one good European event for the F/TF owners, I try to help make sure we meet at least one time every year but we need an organisational team that are willing to work together (count me in of course).

We are not planning the MGFIM13 for next year. But if anyone is feeling to organize this event we are more than helpful. I will talk to Hajo tomorrow and will discuss it. But we don’t organize it.

Hi Adrian, thats truth, and one International Event in the Year is a must be. I will see all the international friends, all the old and all the new
When we will build a International organisational team, i will be in and help as much i can.
I think there will be more international Friends to build a Team.
But first we must find a Platform to talk about.

Correct Klaus, how about a meeting ?

If we are to be serious about this (I am) I suggest a proper meeting. I would be happy to fly in to a chosen location if it's outside the UK, early next year but we need at least one reliable person from the usual countries that have supported Kempenrit, TdL and MGFIM. The meeting can be in the UK, we can have a visit to London or another place that is close to an airport or transport will need to be arranged. if it's early in the year (such as Houten) the weather will be a consideration.

The event (as MGFIM was intended to) would be held in a different country every year so all would be able to play a part.

We don't even need an extensive, time consuming roadbook (although it's possible one already exists for a popular area), we only need a good hotel (not too expensive and good safe parking) for Saturday night, some people may stay longer, a nice area to visit with the possibility of an organised tour of interest, lunch on Saturday and Sunday and a nice restaurant (maybe in the hotel) on Saturday evening. Local knowledge is a must, this will probably mean more than one person in the local team.

Tie it in with a race weekend ?

i think the same, but i think the most importantly is the driver and his co-driver, the route to drive and the landscape. Roadbooks, perhaps, but don´t sending the participants of the tour and we running from one to the other places and make movies or pictures, best pics will be on the route with the other MGF/TF driver, you know it. Better form 2 or 3 groups and there will be guidet, that will be relaxed for the participants and we can better plan. With the Hotel and the meals ill be with you, not to much und not to expensive, no dinners, thats nice, but expensive, normal meals are enought but Time for breaks and good discussions and fun must be.
I thinking about to come to Houten or Stoneleight, but i must visit Colin too, have save to much parts at his home...
