IT’S GOOD TO TALK, NANJING TELLS MG ENTHUSIASTS
Only days after Nanjing Automotive Corporation (NAC) confirmed that MG car production was set to resume at Longbridge, enthusiasts of the legendary British marque, are being given the opportunity to speak directly with NAC representatives in the UK and in China.
The discussion will commence at 1100hrs on Thursday 8th February 2007 on
www.MG-Rover.org – the world’s largest MG & Rover enthusiasts’ website. Fielding questions from MG enthusiasts worldwide will be NAC’s Stephen Cox in the United Kingdom and Paul Stowe in China. Paul is Quality Director with NAC in China, whilst Stephen is Longbridge based and responsible for Sales and Franchising within the United Kingdom, European Union and other selected MG markets, which will be serviced from NAC’s UK base at Longbridge.
It is understood that this is the first time ever a major motor manufacturer has provided car enthusiasts with the chance to talk to them directly, via an independent, enthusiasts’ website.
It is expected that the discussion on
www.MG-Rover.org will last for 1 hour, enabling MG enthusiasts to gain an exciting and unique insight into NAC’s global ambitions for MG.
Paul says: “From the outset, NAC has recognised the positive and pivotal role that enthusiasts have played in the development of the MG brand, ever since Cecil Kimber’s very first car left the factory in 1924. Today, NAC not only recognises the historical importance and significance of MG enthusiasts, but is keen to build upon established links with MG enthusiasts worldwide. Stephen and I very much look forward to re-engaging via the
www.MG-Rover.org webchat, with fellow enthusiasts who share our commitment and passion for MG.â€Â
