Beautiful car Adrian, I think the LE80 in black is one of the most good looking TF's MG made.

There is no service history, that has all been lost during their house move, so I got the price down to €4600 in the end.

I am not sure which version it is, is it the rare 160 version or did you go for the 135 after all. And not less important, which one of the 1600 is it ?

Nope, he couldn't find a 160, so it's an 135, but the fun factor is the same with such a beautifull car IMO.

Wow ! The first car was first registered on the 10th Jan 1997. The second is not known by Ad, can somebody tell him about it as it's obviously an import and the third is #179/1600.

These prices are still cheaper than Scandinavian countries.

By the way, I've just found out that there are now 2 Vintage Racings for sale in France, #'s 26 & 30 of 30, very low kilometres too.

Hi Pieter, yes for sure, I know and love your car, although the first one that took my attention was Math Agelink's in 2005 at the EEOTY in De Emhof, complete with blue flashing light .

It's strange, but there is something about driving a numbered LE, I felt it when I was driving a Vintage Racing TF in Sweden.

There is no rush, I have all winter to do the work, but I will send pictures.

Spot on Coen, it really hits the nice spot.

I have just fitted four brand new 80th anniversary wheels and a new set of Toyo's. Work continues most days, the Piper 4-2-1 and Daytona back box goes on this Tuesday along with it's four year service. I cleaned off the dirt and rust under the bonnet and sprayed all of the parts that needed it back in to Pearl Black. I'm looking for black headed bolts as I don't want to keep the originals or change to s/steel because some (along the wings) are black and some are plain. I could spray them but they will crack when I tighten them up of course.

I'll be with you in May for the Octagon Tour, whoever is on that next year, providing Daphne let's me have my car this year .
