How many LE500's sold ?

According to the officlial figures, as of the end of June 2009, just 263 registered, this of course does not say how many are sold as they can still be in dealer stock until the money is paid.
Raven Black is definitely the hardest to sell according to dealers (and the amount of them I saw at Longbridge on Tuesday). It appears that dealers will even swop the wheels for you to silver if you want.
I have sent Bruno pictures from our trip, I hope you enjoy them (and I bet you will not ask as many questions as Erik did

) although he had a great sense of vision and saw things I did not (because there was too much to see and write down

)

I have more, I was there again yesterday with Colin, we went to places you only hear about and see things that amaze !! I'll send some to you later today.
We test drove the 2007 TF with the Bilstein/Eibach suspension, wow !, what a car, I also drove the 85LE, the first person outside MG to do so, that's a nice car too
As of the end of June 2009, there were 263 LE500's registered, this includes dealer stock. As there are about 40 + dealers, if they have one each that means there are little more than 200 on the road.
There is still no national advertising on the new cars, dealers are complaining about this, many people do not know MG are building cars.

Marketing is not the strongest thing from the MG company the last years.
If I was an UK marketing guy, I went to MG to sell my services !
We saw it on :
- MGFest 2008 (nice stand, but the people from MG, didn't do where they are payed for)
- Not willing to sell regalia
- Silverstone 2009 : Not a stand, just a few cars parked in the grass...

Yep, even the dealers are complaining that there is no national advertising. Ian Pogson was at Silverstone on Saturday with the first 85LE and one other production car, it seems he was doing it all on his own.
The week before I was telephoned by MG Motor UK and asked if I wanted a test drive in a new MG, I told them if I was interested it would be a 85LE, the reply was "Oh, you know about the 85LE".
Words sometimes aren't enough

Yes, only on the 85LE from the factory but you can buy the kit from VHS (Vehicle Handling Solutions).
I have sent Bruno pictures of the factory set-up so you can see the new parts quite clearly :
Thicker Eibach anti-roll bar, suspension lowered by 10mm, stronger link arm with new bushes, Bilstein s/Absorbers, thicker wishbones and lazer aligned geometry if I remember correctly. Narrower front wheels too (6" with 7" at the rear but the same size tyres as earlier TF's.)
