Looks good, except the wheels.

Hate the wheels, especially since they do'nt use a left and right version with that pattern. Like the bumper and sticker !

Exactly Sander, what a big mistake those wheels...

Thinking of the Le85 and Le500, I had rather seen the Le500 be the Le85. I think that this Le85, especially with those wheels, is more of a special and more sporty version. I think a non birthday version competes with that better.... so if this was the Le500 it would be more logic to me. Switching it is hard now but it would fit the names of LE batches better

Not sure about the wheels and stickers, but I like the interior and colours.

The colours are superb  , also the interior is super.
The wheels aren't, but the colour of the wheels is a nice thing to think about... it seems to be our well know Stainless HCR.

First of all: great pics !! Thanks for that.

About the car: I am quite happy to see the result, as the prototype looked really dull. The striping and decals at the doors, well .... not a big fan of those as basicly these things are from the 70-80's. However they aren't too much 'in ya face' and kind of smoothly blend in, wich is nice.
The wheels, they are not too bad if they are on the plum/purple car.... but I guess it has more to do with the color combination. A set of 11-spokes in dark grey would suit them too.
The best thing is the improved front bumper. If I had a TF right now, I would start calling to get such a bumper. On the other hand, they fitted some cheap-looking mesh, which is a bit sad.
How about the interior: colour of the seats is OK, but that's about it. It's like they went to an MG gathering, looked at every F and TF and asked by themselves: what's the cheapest way how people have modified their interiors. Found it: "a silver sprayed console". Put that next to a 'standard' interior of an LE80th or even an LE75th and you'll notice that the economical crisis has hit the Anniversary edition really hard. I know the LE80th has a silver console and it looks really well and it could be nice in other F/TF's too... but it just needs more than just the console to look attractive and up to date.

Like I said to some before, put a bunch of MGF/TF friends in a garage with some F's and TF's and after a week or less a real LE/SE is born.

If I would buy this one (SE or LE to 200), I would start modding it the same day.

Can't agree with you more Erik, get rid of those ugly wheels (yeah the collor is good Bruno! ) and the silly gearknob. The rest is being your style or not and I think to most of the buyers this is not as special as the Le80, so changing it will happen more than ones :!:

After seeing some more LE500 pics .... Has the front bumper really been changed, or is the combination of color and lights that let me think the bumper has been changed ?

I haven't noticed any differents between the Le500 and this Le85 yet...

Stripes on the door and bonnet  and the new colors (is the green one a BRG?). The interior collor is also a new one. And because the LE-500 is stuffed with all the options you can get for a TF there was nothing left to put on the 85th. The only thing they can afford are the New wheels. Bought from Lambo??

I have sent more pictures to Bruno and Erik with a little more detail. I can say there will be just 200 85LE's made, they will not be numbered.

The colours are Intense Cassis with Enigmatic Silver stripes, Enigmatic Silver with Intense Cassis stripes and the third one is Crystal White but I don't know the colour of the stripes yet, maybe Cassis from an early picture I have seen, but this one has not left Longbridge yet. The wheel colour is liquid boron and are supplied by Rimstock.

There was also a BRG pre-production TF135 at Windsor, I have supplied pictures of this too. In fact I have been told today of a brand new TF (09 number plate) in BRG that was burnt out on the motorway near Bristol, hmm, there can't be many of those. A possibility is that it was on a run from Longbridge to a dealer ??

I've just noticed, you can see it in the background of picture 7.
