This is a truely stunning car, I knew the previous owner, and was quite tempted myself when he was selling, but it was LEFT HAND DRIVE!

It's the Paris Motor Show Car!

This has to be cheaper than buying a UK car and converting it (assuming you could get all the bits - doubtful!!)

wow, yes I know this car. Ever saw it in the flesh on the Silverstone event. Don't kow the year anymore.
Very tempting a V8, but so expensive to drive it in Belgium (insurance, tax..)

Edit : it was Silverstone 2004 MG80 :

Not the same car I supose, because the one on Pistonheads is a 2005 car and it has different wheels.

That's a headturner but indeed quite exensive to drive. If I would get it, I would change the front to a Mk1 I think

What a beautiful car, the color scheme is just perfect. Unlike most of you, I prefer the MK2 front to the MK1 front.

It seems to be an 190 to me (note the single exhaust pipe).

Could be, but that one looks like not to be orginal anyway.

Those who know me are aware of my appreciation for this model. The down side: I cannot afford a V8, there is no open space in the drive.

That's obvious, because the picture was taken in 2004, and the car fore sale is an ''05 car.

this is number 217 of 883. It's a very late pre facelift car that MG converted to facelift (which they did for the early facelift press cars) and this one went to the Paris Motorshow. it is a 2004 car. Mine is number 242 and is also 2004

for a lot less, you could have the Top Gear test car.

Clarkson liked it so much, he went out and bought one!

It's RHD though

What a stunning car, what a price, it's almost for free
A shame, that to register it + insurance + tax, it will be more than an extra 5000 euro in Belgium.

Regarding the LHD, the Monogram color is a real bonus as those are very rare on the continent. And the color isn't OTT as some other Monogram's.

About the RHD .... I think Carl from this board will take the plane on Saturday or Sunday. It's cheap as chips and something that needs a good home. The RHD is less attractive as it has some tuning parts fitted. It could be hard to pass our MOT as regulations are very strict regarding mods (don't ask about my car).

I really need to read some other threads now, otherwise there's no chance I will fall asleep this night.
