Hello all,

some of you may now. Dieter has retired

So I've got a lot of time for more or less useless things and I thought may be someone will find it useful having a list of MG workshops that covers as much countries as possible.
Tourists to your country will find it usefull, probably.

I have such a list online for Germany (from own research and Xpart source) including Austria and Switzerland (sourced from official MG Rover websites) A very few from Italy aswell included.
TomTom or Garmin SatNav data available at anothe place.

Anyway, I've no sense whether such a list exists already for/from users of this forum.
I take the data from the current existing Xpart website and put it together as follows.


Question:
- does that make sense, or should I just forget it ?
- any volunteer out there who could spend some time to validate these and later more data (true or false) ?

Anthonis in Antwerp is no more.
The owner died a few years ago while on holidays in Turkey because of a heartfailure.

mgfcar.de is more than a fantastic contribution to the mgf scene!

Back on topic :
I can't find Garage Ruys on the list, it is at the moment the only garage I know around Antwerp still able to provide service to MG's They have a landrover background, but are also servicing older mini's etc.
As far as I know they are X-parts dealer.
There must be others, so some more input can be expected.

That's right. They are XPart listed and a lot more in the north and west.
I'll add them and all I can find to the list and get back later with an update.

I didn't all the effort in advance cause it's quite troublesome to pick them one after the other from the outdate Xpart data.

If someone here had said *no need for that, we have something better*,
I'd left it out and have some relax in the arm chair instead and have some coffee

Looking at the list, I am missing this one in Amsterdam:

This used to be Van Rootselaar MG, but Snijders still has that incredible mechanic working in their garage and he is one of the old mark, trained by Rover/MG.
He did extensive work on my car when I first bought it and he did a very thorough job
They still have MG on their sign.

I also miss a former MG dealer in Purmerend, but I would not recommend them, so not needed on that list and missing it is actually a good thing
They do not even know how to properly bleed the car...

that's exactly what I'm looking for

The list above covers XPart-listed companies only.
Assume it's where *original* parts can be ordererd also some of them are certified workshops.
The companies have to pay for that listing at XPart.

On the other hand there are so many former MGR workshops and other small workshops with former MGR employees. Lots of experiance there with hydrogas and Rover MEMS (Testbook).

So we did with our German list:
- leave those out with *bad reputation*
- include other that have a HG pump and Testbook (even former old Mini workshops have skills)
- mark the XPart certified sales with an X in a column behind the phone number.

However such list can only work if you as user give input

So I've upload the total list in current stage to my website .
Covering Germany, Austria, Switzerland, few from north Italy. B, NL, LUX and a few from F on page 4.

Please excuse the file name with _DE. But this links is spread already through several Forums and linked on other Websites, so it would be not good to change it.
